Dr. Lauren Janecek

Dr. Lauren Janecek grew up in Sugar Land and frequented First Colony Vet Clinic with her childhood pets. She graduated from Sam Houston State University's pre-vet program in 2009. She went on to pursue her Master's degree at Sam Houston until going to Texas A&M for vet school. She graduated from Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine in 2015. She has worked in the veterinary field since 2008 and cannot imagine doing anything else.

She married her husband Kevin in 2013 and they have two kids, Collin and Kinley. They have three dogs: Sophie, Sherbert, and Charlie as well as a cat named Finch.

She has a passion for all things veterinary medicine and treats every patient as if they were her own.
